  初の翻訳記事の下書きになります。翻訳が初めてなのでめっちゃ翻訳できてないかもしれませんが…….ちなみに、なぜこのSCPを翻訳しようと思ったかと言うと、MinecraftというゲームにてMODという機能を使用して追加したSCPの中にこのSCPがいたんですが、このSCPは未翻訳だったため、異常性が何もわからなかったので、翻訳する気になったからです。

  細かい指摘は省略しますが、翻訳の大部分がGoogle翻訳と一致します。このまま投稿すると低品質な翻訳として削除される可能性もあるかと思います。
  機械翻訳に頼らず、あくまでご自分で翻訳なされることをおすすめします。

  翻訳お疲れ様です。説明セクションまでの査読を終了しました。以下に気になった点を記載していきます。
  はじめに、付与予定タグの中にある「o」ですが、こちらはInternationalにおける翻訳の質の判断基準のタグであるため、JPでは使用されておりません。よって、付与しなくて大丈夫です。
  私もクリニカルトーンに沿った表現はあまり得意ではないため、訳案などを出してる箇所は適宜取捨選択をしていただければと思っております。

  + メタタイトルについて

  原語(今回の場合はフランス語)のメタタイトルは「Griffes du blizzard」でした。このgriffeという単語は爪というよりは動物が持っているような鉤爪を意味しているのではないか、と思われます(人間の爪を意味する場合は英語のnailに該当するongleが使用されると思います)。現段階でのメタタイトルの訳ですと、nailの方の爪ともとれ、分かりにくく感じました。「吹雪の鉤爪」などとしても良いかもしれません。

  • 欠如という言葉を使用するなら、視界よりも視野に対して使った方が自然な気がします。
  • associéは~と結びつくという意味なので、英語のassociateと微妙に意味が異なります。
  • 最後の一文ですが、SCP-059-FR-1の動きと視野の欠如により、犠牲者は同じ範囲内を逃げ回る傾向が指摘されています、といった意味ではないかと思います。

  • 意訳としては問題ないかもしれませんが、toucherは命中といった意味の方が近いように感じました。
  • se retrouverで突然～になるという意味があるので(英訳には反映されていないようですが)、凍りだします。などとしても良いかもしれません。
  • même au travers des vêtements(even through clothing)は衣服の有無にかかわらず、といった意味ではないかと思います。英訳のthroughはevenと使用されるときは意味を訳出されない場合も多いです。
  • des sifflements de reptileで爬虫類のようなしゅうしゅうという音という意味ではないでしょうか。自分もreptileの訳に自信が持てないですが。
  • de craquement de glaceのcraquementで物が折れたり、軋んだりする時のぽきっという音などを意味しているようなので、訳に反映させても良いかもしれません。
