  • ここのlocationは恐らくSCP-7961の異常性の影響範囲を指しているものと思われます。
  • seed podsは様々な意味があるようでしたが、裂果性(ご存じと思いますが、マメ科植物のように、さやを開けると中から種子が出てくるものです)の植物に見られる種子を包むための莢を指しているようです(参考)。理科の実験などで豆類を育てた記憶等あるかもしれませんが、ああいった植物の種子はそのまま落下しないため、莢と表現されていると思われます。莢の中に含まれている種子、などと意訳しても良いかもしれません。
  • atmosphere's corrosive propertiesで腐食性の大気、とする方が自然に見えます。
