If I'm reading this right, (and I realize that's a big if,) the whole point is that we've all been infected with this thing for centuries. Before we got infected, we were like any other animal. Concerned with food and breeding and danger and nothing else. Incapable of understanding. Incapable of planning. Then this thing came into us, spread among us, and lay dormant for centuries. Because it wanted to learn. Not learn about us, but learn about the universe. For some reason, it needed us… our bodies and our brains… in order to accomplish this.

And so for centuries, it used us. It became a quiet little voice in the back of our minds. Haunting us. Subtly influencing us. Forcing us not to fear, like a lot of SCPs of this nature do, but quite the opposite. Forcing us to use our brains and our bodies to crack the code. So that the entity could observe and learn what we learned.

When the SCP announces that it now "knows everything," what it means is that the sum total of all human knowledge is enough to predict everything. No one human is as smart as the gestalt entity because no one human has all the facts. But once it does have all the facts, it stops being dormant and actively starts to control all of humanity at once, in the interest of performing a final experiment. This occurred in our future.

In order to fight this (now dominant) entity, the SCP Foundation of the future broadcast a message back in time to the date when the Foundation's first site was founded, warning us to kill this entity every time it assumes control of a human body. Presumably, this will keep it ignorant for longer, and thus make its inevitable success happen later rather than sooner.

At the date this SCP-document was prepared, it seems the entity has apparently unravelled all the secrets of the universe except for Anomalous Objects. Since it's possible that Anomalous Objects exist in the distant reaches of space and will never come to Earth, I assume that what it actually means when it says it "no longer fears the anomalous," is that it has figured out all the rules that govern how SCP-objects work. Not just how to use them or how to handle them safely, but everything about them. How they work internally, how to create them, how to take them apart and combine them in new ways. The SCP-2000 this article is about has succeeded in coming up with a Unification Theory that covers everything, literally everything, that humanity does not understand.

This skip isn't scary because it can control us, or because it's already inside of us, or because it does not fear what we fear.

This skip is scary because everything we are, everything we value, everything the SCP Foundation is trying to protect, was just an elaborate set of tools this entity created. We are nothing without it. And eventually, it will be done with us.

(I hope the actual author will jump in here and correct whatever parts of that I butchered the worst. :) )

(前に調べたものをうろ覚えで書き起こす) O5-Rがある。現在は確か定型詩型Tale1件の中でしか言及されていない。2010年代前半には多くの記事で言及されていたことが Lalartuをはじめとする古参著者の人事ページの過去リビや、-Vカテゴリおよび古くからあるオスノヴォエSCP記事の過去リビからわかるが、ある時期に一気にO5に書き改められた (RUが極端に自支部発キャラクターを使うことを好まないことやメカニーク事件とも関連？)。彼らの在り方は、その執筆時期もあって、古典的なO5像のひとつである「やたら現場に出張ってきて一般研究員と普通に絡んでるO5」そのものである。
