I suggest we isolate him to test for additional symptoms, he might be further along than initially anticipated.

当然ながら、この記事にはJFK暗殺に関わる多くの実在する人物、物事が登場している。以下に、管見の限り調べのついたものや、他に重要な事柄などについて簡単に説明していく。

• アール・ウォーレン: 元連邦最高裁判所長官。ケネディ暗殺事件の公式調査を行った「ウォーレン委員会」の委員長。
• 単独犯説: 原文"Lone Gunmen"。ウォーレン委員会が結論した、事件がオズワルドの単独犯行によるものであるという調査結果のことを指す。
• 「アンブレラマン」: 暗殺目撃者の一人。暗殺が目の前であったこと、当時晴れていたにもかかわらず傘をさしたこと、暗殺後に別の1人と合流したことなどから、陰謀が唱えられている。
• バブーシュカ・レディー: 暗殺の瞬間を収めたビデオに写っていた、暗殺を間近で撮影していたと思われる女性。
• ホーリーフッド墓地: ケネディ家が眠っていることで有名な墓地（JFKとその妻ジャクリーンはアーリントン国立墓地に埋葬されている）。日本語ではときおり「ハリウッド墓地」と間違えられていることがある。
• ファインド・ザ・レディー: スリーカードモンテとも呼ばれる、3枚のトランプをシャッフルして正解のトランプを当てるゲーム。出題者がイカサマをすれば、プレイヤーが当てることはできない。下のシェルゲームと類似する。
• シェルゲーム: 正解のトークンが入ったカップと空のカップをシャッフルし、正解を当てるゲーム。出題者がイカサマをすれば、プレイヤーは当てられない。
• ジョージ・ウォーレン・ヒッキー・ジュニア: 暗殺当日にケネディを後ろの車で護衛していたシークレットサービス。『Mortal Error』という本では、彼がケネディ殺害の真犯人であると結論している。
• 「バッジマン」: 暗殺の際の写真に写っている、「グラッシーノール（芝生の丘）」にある人影と主張される影。暗殺者の正体とされることがある。
• 「3人のトランプ」: 暗殺直後にテキサス教科書倉庫近くで連行された3人の男。様々な疑惑を呼んだ。
• ジェームズ・アール・ファイルズ: ケネディ暗殺の犯人を自称する人物。彼の主張は部分的に事実と奇妙な一致を見せる。
• ヒュームズ中佐: アメリカ海軍軍医ジェームズ・ヒュームズ中佐。ケネディの検視をJ・ソーントン・ボズウェル中佐とともに行った。
