Special Containment Procedures: New artificial reproductive techniques are currently being developed, in addition to human replication and cloning systems, to counteract the effects associated with SCP-ES-147-2. Additionally, an agreement has been established with the Exosolar Occult Coalition for the application of social engineering programs for the establishment of pro-birth policies and policies against voluntary or assisted death.

Description: SCP-ES-147 refers to two radiation beams, hereinafter referred to as SCP-ES-147-1. The beams present a variable length and are projected from an initial angle of 30 degrees with a common vertex. At the start of an Orquios event, the beams will adopt their initial configuration, heading for the apoapsis of the closest astronomical object, after which, the beams will conceal and disappear.
Rational living beings present in astronomical objects affected by the effects of SCP-ES-147-1 will become SCP-ES-147-2 instances.
SCP-ES-147-2 corresponds to the human population affected by the incident ES-147-968 These subjects present sterility.
Incident ES-147-968: On 01-01-2292, the beams that form SCP-ES-147-1 were projected onto the surface of the Earth, resulting in an Orquios event. During this event, the beams made sweeping movements, similar to those of an incision with scissors or forceps, over the whole of the Earth's surface. Later this event was repeated in the other populated astronomical bodies within the solar system.
Post-Incident ES-147-968 Chronology: The following are the most important events for the Foundation:
01-17-2292: Health organizations in the different regions within the solar system have reported that in the days following the Incident ES-147-968 there were approximately 40 million miscarriages. The Foundation, in collaboration with the governing authorities, disseminated the coverage story "Exosolar Uterine Parasite".
02-10-2292: Results from surveys and opinion polls carried out by the terrestrial and Martian governing bodies. A 39% of the male participants claimed to have problems with ejaculation, 42% of the female participants claimed that their menstrual cycle had changed drastically and the rest of the participants claimed to have infertility problems prior to the Incident ES-147-968.
04-12-2292: The media on Earth, on Mars and on their satellites report the outbreak of numerous cases of infertility. It is estimated that between 18 and 45 billion people have been affected, currently between 10 and 25% of the total human population.
04-14-2292: The Exosolar Occult Coalition agrees to work with the Foundation to develop techniques of assisted reproduction and large-scale replication of humans.
12-27-2292: First attempt at assisted reproduction from frozen samples. Both the chosen egg and sperm degraded after fertilization.
01-08-2293: The previous experiment is repeated with identical results. Large-scale human replication is proposed as a major option.
01-15-2293: The Foundation chooses 100,000 D-class personnel to participate in the Paracelsus project. This project will seek the large-scale assisted replication of humans.
09-13-2293: The successful replication of all the organs and tissues that constitute the human body is achieved.
09-20-2293: Successful combination of organs and tissues for the creation of clones. Although the process is successful, the subjects show no signs of life. Reanimation process failed.
12-01-2293: The Exosolar Occult Coalition enacts social assistance programs to encourage births in families living in exosolar colonies. Many riots take place in the territories of the solar system with a high rate of poverty due to the origin of these funds, resulting in around 270,000 deaths. The Exosolar Occult Coalition continues with its pro-exosolar birth rate program.
08-23-2294: SCP-ES-147-1 were projected on the different planets and satellites that make up the exosolar colonies, with multiple events occurring with similar characteristics and effects to the Incident ES-147-968.
12-09-2294: A study published by the Exosolar Health Organization (EHO) estimates that over 99.9% of the human population (currently around 180 billion people) are estimated to be sterile as a result of the incident ES-147-968 and subsequent ones.
01-05-2296: Population studies indicate an increase in the mortality rate of about 575%. During the study period, 758 million deaths were recorded, 84% of which were among the elderly, and 19% of such deaths were due to suicide.
02-14-2298: The rise of a series of cultural pro-death movements begins, mainly formed by individuals between the ages of 15 and 40. An estimated 1.1 billion people have died in the context of these movements during the last months.
04-30-2299: The census lists 168 billion human beings on Earth and the solar and exosolar colonies. Due to the riots associated with social unrest and high mortality rates, the security forces from different governments have begun to establish response and control measures.
08-26-2300: The census lists 158 billion human beings. The suicide rate has risen by 28% on average among individuals with medium-high incomes.
04-19-2302: The Overseer Council, after a 13-0 vote, decides that the entirety of SCP-ES-147-2 is not anomalous. However, due to its anomalous origin, the designation is maintained. The census lists 147 billion human beings.
06-05-2307: The census lists 114 billion human beings. All the Jovian and Venusian Sites have been decommissioned due to lack of personnel in these areas. As a last measure of containment, the sites have been relocated to their respective home planets.
01-01-2310: Due to the high mortality rates and the general deterioration of the social structure, there is a significant increase in the rates of depression in the population. The census lists a total of 97 billion human beings.
02-09-2311: There are multiple outbreaks of flu affecting especially the elderly, which together with the general deterioration of the health conditions of the nursing homes, results in a 100% increase in the mortality rate among those affected. The census lists 90 billion human beings, 15% of whom are elderly
08-23-2312: The census lists 87 billion human beings. 100% of the human species are adult.
02-17-2320: The census lists 50 billion human beings. There is a 20% reduction in the Foundation's staff as a result of the above events. Recruitment of D-class personnel from the civilian population has begun.
02-17-2330: The census lists 39 billion human beings. Foundation staff has lost contact with the Saturnian and Transneptunian Sites. The containment breach rate has increased by 41%.
11-07-2341: The census lists 20 billion human beings. All humans belonging to the elderly are recruited to work in the Foundation.
12-14-2348: 50th anniversary of the Valentine's Sacrifice, as the event that started the pro-death movements on February 14, 2298 was called. The remnants of the pro-death movement continue with their activities, with no major impact on society. The census lists 10 billion human beings.
01-01-2350: Due to the scarce personnel available there are numerous containment breaches from the different Sites. These incidents have been responsible for the reduction of the human population to only 900 million people and for the dissolution of the Exosolar Occult Coalition by the death of all the inhabitants from the exosolar colonies.
01-03-2350: A VK-Class Scenario "Lifted Veil" takes place by intervention of the Foundation, in an attempt to rule the remaining population. The population as a whole ignores the Foundation or any other authority. The Foundation's census estimates that there are 897 million human beings.
09-05-2358: The Foundation's census estimates that there are 1 million human beings. 100% of them belong to the Foundation.
01-01-2360: The Foundation's census estimates that there are 10,000 human beings. O5-03 and O5-07 die.
02-01-2360: The Foundation's census estimates that there are 1000 human beings. OS-04, O5-02, O5-05 and O5-11 die of natural causes. O5-09, O5-12, O5-10, and O5-08 commit suicide.
05-03-2360: O5-13 kills O5-06. The Foundation's census estimates that there are 2 human beings.
05-04-2360: O5-13 commits suicide. The Foundation's census estimates that there is 1 human being alive.
05-05-2360: O5-01 activates Site-01's nuclear bomb. The Foundation's census will estimate that there will be 0 human beings in one hour.
