李氏朝鮮後期には「地下道士」に所属していた。1909年の日本併合直前、苦力としてハワイに渡航。1913年には世界産業労働組合(IWW)に参加し、その翌年にIWWと協力関係にある”蛇の手”の存在に気づく。1918年には米国政府がIWWに多大な弾圧を加え、ホヤを含む166人の組合員が逮捕された。その翌年に脱獄して朝鮮に帰還。帰国後、日本の下に靡かなかった少数の能力者たちを集めて”蛇の手朝鮮支部”を立ち上げる。
In the 1920s, Hoya and SH-KO assisted Korean anarchist group Righteous Valor Corps (의열단; 義烈團) by fighting against IJAMEA. After Valor Corps disbanded in 1928, Hoya attempted to travel through mainland Japan alone in 1930, but failed. After the collapse of Imperial Japan, Korea was divided into pro-Soviet Stalinist North and pro-US Fascist South. In despair over the fact that there was no room for her in Korea anymore, Hoya erased her memory by herself and went into hiding. She rejoined the Hand in 2011, and elected as chairwoman, which had been vacant before.1920年代にホヤとSH-KOは義烈団を支援し、大日本帝国異常事例調査局(IJAMEA)と戦った。1928年の義烈団解散後、1930年に単身で日本本土へ渡航を試みるも失敗。大日本帝国の崩壊後、朝鮮は親ソビエト-スターリン主義の北部と、親米国結束主義ファシズムの南部に分割される。
Her specialties are physical combat (체술; 體術) and vulpine magic (여우술; 狐精術). Combat position is a bruiser. She can distort the enemy's perception of her position by passive mind-affecting field. Then she will stab the back of the enemy who attacked the wrong spot. Her favorite artifact is a magic bullet launcher in the form of HK USP.

She loves someone who has a strong mind and indomitable creed regardless of gender. She feels pleasure when a person challenges and pushes on their creed to the world then force themselves to the world itself. And she enjoys helping people who became her persona grata. Such a relationship became romantic sometimes.
Her hometown was Hy-Brasil (a.k.a. Tír na nÓg). However, she despises her own hometown because she thinks it is a nest of autistic jerks in torpor state. She left Hy-Brasil hundreds of years ago and then join the Hand (or the predecessor of the Hand). Since then, She has been a loyal member of the Hand up to now. She helped IRA throughout the 20th century and sided with the Northern Irish IRA after Irish partition. In 1997, She made "big" trouble in the UK and was listed on the GOC Red Notice. So she escaped to the Korean Hand, and was appointed as a liaison between Korean and European Hands.
Her specialty is shapeshifting (둔갑술; 遁甲術). As a master shapeshifter, her favorite shapes are black beasts including ravens. Partial shifting is possible, so she can fly with raven's wing and humanoid body, and so on. Default humanoid form is an Irish woaman with long black hair and green eyes. Combat position is a nuker. She summons translucent blue mail and Celtic sword before engaging in melee. Although she prefers close combat, a long-distance attack is also possible as she can shoot a magic bullet from her fingers without the need of artifact. In fact, the magic bullet launchers used by SH-KO were made from reverse engineering of Morríghan's magic bullet circuitry.

Once was a victim of school bullying. While trying to avoid being bullied, she accidentally killed the bullies by her ability. Morríghan watched the scene and recruited her. After being recruited, she lived with Yeon and Rim under the same roof of Yi family. Was once a timid personality due to school bullying. She is recovering by interacting with Lim.
In the course of her entering the Serpent's Hand, Hoya expunged all human relations around her in order to cover her homicide. Though she was separated from her family, she does not seem to miss them and seldom talks about them. Instead, she tends to regard SH members as her new family. Currently, she attends a new high school with Lim.
Her specialty is space leaping (공간도약; 空間跳躍), a.k.a. blinking through warping (축지법; 縮地法). It is not only a transportation method but also can be used as a means of attack. For example, setting the destination point within the body of enemies before blinking again with grasping the enemies' internal body (how she killed her bullies), or blinking with an object to burying it within the body of enemies, and so on. Combat position is a tricky utility dealer using various application of her specialty. She had learned basic thaumatology from seniors including Yeon and trained her ability much more variously.

25th generation descent from Jeonghyo duke from Earthy Hong line from Clan Hong of Namyang. She is a descendant of time-honored underground Taoist family and has a strong attachment and a sense of duty to the organization. Hoya exploits her devotion to upload almost every many works onto Heui-ji.
Being a secretary, she has to be in charge of the interior affairs of the organization. That's why she rarely comes out from the HQ. She sold her family house and takes care of her own room and board within the HQ. Her parents were killed in action against GOC in the year of 2000. She holds a deep grudge against GOC however, she pockets her feelings so thoroughly that anyone who does not know her past cannot even notice her ressentiment.
Her specialty is psionic sensation (초감각 개방; 超感覺開放) including telepathy and wide-area space perception. Especially, telepathy is useful to communicate psychically with lesser demons such as monopods (독각귀; 獨脚鬼) or bamboo leaves soldiers (음척; 陰隲), as they have no command of human languages. It is also Hong's duty to control these lesser demons doing various kind of chores at the HQ. Thus, she seldom engages in combat and focuses on support.

SH-KOに関する更なる情報
Population:
- As the Serpent's Hand is a group of a few good people, SH-KO, which is Korean lodge of SH has no more than dozens of people.
- Half of them are clansmen whose families have not betrayed nor renounced since the times of Underground Taoists. The other half were newly recruited (so-called "organizing" by SH-KO). And a few people difficult to be categorized into either side.
- The art of life extension (養生術) was lost during the war between Joseon and Japan (1592-1598). This made the lifespan and generation of underground Taoists nothing different from normal people, and no Taoists of the old times survived as of 2010s, modern days. Thus, the members of current SH-KO have a way of modern thinking, as modern people. There is no ridiculous guys such as "Confucian Man" or "Taoistic Woman."
- The members do not have only "specialties" as their ability. The specialty means their favorite art, not the sole one. Most of them can perform thaumaturgy higher than basic fundamentals.
Location
- The Wanderer's Library is an extradimensional space with numerous entrances to various parallel realities. SH-KO have constructed their headquarter around one of them, and then made their HQ into another extradimensional space which is connected to the baseline dimension. Just like this.
- The HQ is pleasant and as big as typical city library. The Ways to SH-KO HQ are hidden in various methods, just like the Ways of other Serpent's Hands.
- There is no regional or local office. Because they can access the HQ from anywhere through the Ways. Agitpunkts are established operation by operation and abandoned when the purpose was fulfilled.
- The members do not always stay at the HQ. Most of them have their house or occupation at the baseline dimension. They enter the HQ via the Ways when they perform SH operations or any other reasons that it is needed. Exceptively, Hong Heu-ji stays and lives at HQ at most of her times.
Violence:
- SH-KO do not want to harm civilians. We can say that they are chaotic good of DnD system.
- However, they are thorough against agents of the paranormal world such as the Foundation or GOC, and able to be cruel as occasion demands.
- Being a secret society with direct democracy, most of the members know the situation of their organization. Thus dropout can never be allowed. The absconder is considered as the betrayer, and the betrayer can be "terminated" for the safety of the organization.
Politicality:
- SH-KO has official political orientation: Anarcho-syndicalism.
- This orientation was developed through cooperation with IWW or RVC during the colonial era. So SH-KO inquires how to make reality better practically (according to the ideology of syndicalism), and how to harmonize it with the liberation of the capables, which is the cause of the Serpent's Hand.
- You do not have to inspect anarcho-syndicalism in detail and make its members an ideological crusader to write an article featuring SH-KO. Just keep in mind that there are speeches and behaviors which may not be done by the members of SH-KO.

- 財団: 他の”蛇の手”と同じく、赤斑蛇の手は財団のことを”看守”と呼ぶ。だが彼らは可能な限り財団を避けている。連合と財団の間で両面戦線を敷きたくはないからだ。
- エントロピーを超えて(B.E.): 赤斑はB.E.の理想に賛同していないどころか軽蔑すらしている。赤斑蛇の手にとって、B.E.はある種の超常ヒッピー集団にすぎない。
- 黒の女王: 彼らは”黒の女王”が財団に敵対的な態度をとっていることを知っている。何よりも財団を刺激するべきでないという方針から、彼らは黒の女王から距離を置いている。
- 世界オカルト連合(GOC): 他の”蛇の手”と同じく、極めて敵対的。特にGOC極東部門が主な敵対組織であり、双方が遭遇した際はよく銃撃戦になる。
- 大日本帝国異常事例調査局(IJAMEA): かつて義烈団と同盟を組んでいた時代の最大の敵。
- 真昼の樫の木さすらい楽団: 直接的な関係はないものの、赤斑蛇の手は時折、楽団が苦境に陥った際に手を貸している。
- プラグソフト: 赤斑蛇の手の参加者にはプラグソフト・ゲームズのファンが何人か存在する。
- 魔術師学会: 赤斑蛇の手は有望な参加者をドイツに留学させることがある。
